Operational Energy Authority Industry Engagement
INSIGHT FUNCTION
0930 -1500hrs 16 October 2024
General
The Defence Operational Energy Strategy sets out the Ministry of Defence’s response to the energy transition – how we intend to safeguard and maximise operational advantage by making the right decisions at the right times.
Implementation consists of 3 Response Phases:
A Priority Actions in phase 1 is the development and distribution of meaningful energy insights to key strategic and capability decision-makers that will enable the right, bold, and informed decisions from this point forward.
Internal MoD work to design an Energy Insights Function over the past several months has now reached the stage at which it is felt that exposing the thinking to Industry would be mutually beneficial.
